Capricorn Midheaven

Mia Farrow, a Capricorn midheaven, once said that her childhood ended at the age of nine when she contracted polio and entered institutional care. Danny Trejo, another Capricorn midheaven, was banned from seeing his mother at the age of five and took hard drugs for the first time at age eight. He would later buy his childhood home as an adult. Morgan Freeman, a third Capricorn midheaven, grew up in Jim Crow era Mississippi and found multiple homes across an inter-generational migration journey. Later, he would become a household name for playing the role of God in Bruce Almighty.

Most Capricorn midheaven people are pretty tough. You might walk away from a Capricorn midheaven thinking, "What a badass! I've never met someone so strong." They're hard to pin down because they're not intentionally performing strength. It's not like they're putting on airs, acting tough, or wearing leather and chains like the more Martian types. They don't say a lot but they just seem strong.

Capricorn is a very special zodiac sign because it is the only zodiac sign that dignified both malefics. The malefics, Mars and Saturn, are the planets that work through elimination and the midheaven is the point in your chart that describes the way you nurture your future.

Mostly, Capricorn midheavens work through a process of elimination. They don't say a lot but they know what they are here to do based on what they are not here to do. They know when someone isn't right for them and, instead of making excuses or being endlessly pliable, they stick to their instincts without uttering a single complaint. If Capricorn midheaven has no time to do what you want them to do, they don't have time. You can't convince them otherwise.

"That's not for me," you'll often hear them say when offered relationships that don't suit them, jobs that take them away from their own plans, or food that they don't like. They'll say this statement, "that's not for me," unapologetically and firmly but also quietly. They don't have anything to prove. They're just aware of what is right for them and what is not.

The Capricorn midheaven isn't showy. They source their self assuredness from the simple knowledge that they can figure out a way to survive just about anything. No challenge seems to scare them. No opposition daunts them. They can prove their strength if the moment is right but they won't act frivolously. They don't go out of their way because doing so, in their mind, is a waste of energy.

You have to understand that Capricorn midheavens are very minimal. To them, waste is the worst. They refuse to waste time, energy, or attention on anything that won't matter ten years from now. They're extremely focused and, when they have a goal, they lose sight of everything else. They have the ability to reduce their choices down to one somewhat linearly ambitious path. If you can do that, if you can reduce your options down to a single path, then you can save a lot of time.

And if the time isn't right? Capricorn midheaven will just wait. Starting at the wrong time wastes more time than waiting for the right time. After all, you need to get your preparations right before your battle begins.

If the Capricorn midheaven in question has a bunch of Aries or Sagittarius placements that create some push and pull with their midheaven, then they might run into the situation of feeling as though they're put themselves in a regimen or within a system that they can't figure out how to break. Sometimes, Capricorn midheaven struggle against their own strictness with themselves. Other parts of who they are need some room to breathe and the pressure to choose one path and stick to it can feel overwhelming.

If Capricorn midheaven has mostly other earth placements, then they have less self doubt. They just do whatever it takes to make their vision a reality. They commit and they put all of themselves in. Even when no one else believes in them, they stick to the regimen and they don't flinch.

There's something that Capricorn midheaven excels at—the creation of different realities.

Capricorn midheavens have authority but a lot of people confuse authority with status. Authority is the power to make choices about your own life while status is the role that you play for other people. When you have authority over your life, you can shape the world that you live in and co-create your reality with other people.

You have to have some sense of authority to believe that making a different reality is possible. Playing God? Not quite—maybe in a comedy sketch. It's more that Capricorn midheaven believes in their choices and that, even when you think you don't have a choice, you do.

Che Guevara was a Capricorn midheaven. When he was offered a top role in Cuba's new government, he refused it and instead chose to fight for international liberation. To Guevara, occupying a position of power within the Cuban government, the government that he fought for, was not for him. There were too many other people who needed freedom. He walked away from power and chose to fight for more people.

You'll notice that a lot of Capricorn midheavens choose to do the hard thing, the thing that other people don't want to do. They're not trying to make things harder for themselves. They're worried that the thing won't get done and they're too dedicated to let it go.

No, having a Capricorn midheaven isn't all sunshine and roses. A lot of Capricorn midheavens know what it means to suffer. The reason why they are able to refuse what isn't right is because they are aware of the stakes. The reason why they create realities so systemically is because they what they want to change. Yes, they are afraid of messing up. They do live under a level of pressure.

Underneath Capricorn midheaven's tough guy stance, minimalist lifestyle, and survivalist mentality is a lot of sweet nostalgia.

Capricorn midheaven is willing to discard our current reality to build a new one because it is trying to create a world where people aren't being starved. This hunger for revolution fosters a fierce nostalgia. They aren't precious with their present, always willing to change everything completely to make way for the new, but they are exceedingly gentle with their memories. They will reduce their own needs down to seek out the nurture that they were denied.

They miss something dearly—not some idealized childhood that no one had but the real and hard childhood that they did live through. They return back in time through memory, looking for what is precious like a treasure hunter in a ruins.

And then they come back to the present, thinking that they really have somewhere to be and many great things to accomplish. There's no time to waste.
